The Eternal Core demo - contains the first chapter of the game set within the Forgotten Laboratory — the facility where the protagonist awakens. It includes the full combat system, one boss encounter, the core progression loop and approximately 5-10 minutes of content depending on playstyle and exploration.

Full Description of the Lore:

In the distant past, a civilization conquered every limit placed upon it — disease, famine, war. Only one obstacle remained. Time itself. Aging was the final enemy.

Through forbidden experimentation they created the Core — an artificial organ capable of storing and circulating a mysterious living energy within the body. It promised strength beyond measure, regeneration, and perhaps immortality. But the process was unstable. Of all the subjects, only two survived.

Brothers.

Instead of becoming symbols of a new era they were weaponized — turned into living instruments of war. The conflict that followed consumed their entire civilization. Their world collapsed into ruin.

And yet the brothers survived.

One was gravely wounded. Placed into a hibernation chamber deep within a research facility, he was meant to recover. But a catastrophic explosion buried the entire complex beneath layers of rubble and centuries of silence.

He was forgotten.

The other endured. He walked through the ages that followed — rebuilding civilizations from the shadows, changing identities, erasing traces of himself. Immortality, however, has a cost. Time eroded his memory. What once made him human slowly dissolved into something colder. Detached. He became a force that both creates and destroys — bringing about crises only to resolve them, over and over again. Not out of malice. But because he no longer understands why he continues.

Ages later, miners uncovered something impossible deep beneath the earth. A massive spherical structure — resembling a tank — pulsing with a faint red light. It did not belong to their world.

Scientists discovered it was leaking an unknown substance. Dense. Living. Unlike anything previously recorded. When introduced into living subjects it triggered the growth of a new organ — a Core. Enhanced strength. Rapid regeneration. Extended lifespan.

But the subjects were changing.

Driven by greed and fear of mortality, those in power ordered human experimentation. After countless failures a breakthrough was achieved — an injectable form of the substance. A controlled method of inducing Core development.

At first it worked.

Then everything went wrong.

The subjects lost control. Their bodies mutated. Their minds shattered. They became violent instinct-driven creatures — neither human nor animal. The infection spread. The laboratory fell. Cities followed. Civilization collapsed once again.

And in the silence that remained, deep beneath the ruins, a chamber stirred.

A man awakens. Weak. Alone. With no memory of who he once was.
